We have fitted the latest navigation and communication equipment from Raymarine in our race boat - for the throttleman and navigator they have networked E140 widescreen multi functional displays with the navigator using the chart screens to keep the driver on course via a pair of ST70 plus displays showing the course to steer and lots more information and the throttleman has access to all of the data from the Yanmar engines including real time fuel consumption figures. In addition to the displays we also have an AIS transceiver which shows all of the shipping in our area and a Raymarine VHF also linked to the GPS so that in an emergency we can send out a digital distress call.
